Angelina Jolie on Brad Pitt split:’I Sensed a Profound and Real sadness, I Had Been hurt’

Actor Angelina Jolie has stated that she dropped herself following her split from husband Brad Pitt. Angelina and Brad abruptly parted ways in 2016, following two decades of marriage and over a decade together.

She told French magazine Madame Figaro, “I’d lost myself somewhat” when her”relationship with Brad was concluding.” She added, “I sensed a profound and real sadness, I had been hurt.”

Angelina reported that she did a little soul searching in the present time, and realized, “These things settle in you and remind you of just how blessed you’re being alive” She added that the opportunity to”reconnect with this humility and also this insignificance” has helped her appreciate the good things in life.

The actor will next be seen onscreen at the Disney sequel, Maleficent: Mistress of all Evil. Brad was observed in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and after that at James Gray’s Ad Astra. The former couple was engaged in a bitter custody dispute over their kids following the separation, but have come to an understanding in recent months.
