A bomb attack struck on a bus carrying police in the southern Turkish province of Adana on Wednesday afternoon and several people were injured, security sources said.
CNN Turk broadcast movie of a badly broken bus surrounded by debris and other ruined automobiles under a pedestrian overpass in the region of Yuregir at Adana.
The sources stated ambulances took the wounded to hospitals in the region. Armed police closed off the region and have been examining the scene.
It wasn’t clear who could be behind the assault.
Adana Governor Mahmut Demirtas has been mentioned by the Anadolu news agency as saying the first information indicated the injured weren’t seriously hurt.
