I Believe in Miracles may be the second longest locally produced program in the history of Minnesota television. About four months after KEYC - TV went on the air in 1960, the first “I Believe In Miracles” program was shown live on Sunday, February 19, 1961 and has aired weekly ever since.
I Believe in Miracles features "a message of hope and music of inspiration" with Pastor John Michel and his wife, Marilyn. The show is based on a song written by John W. Peterson in 1956. With support of many Baptist churches around the area, KEYC is able to produce the 30 minute program as a public service.
Traditional gospel songs and hymn arrangements are provided by a variety of musicians as Pastor John Michel delivers simple Bible exhortations to promote spiritual living and godly values.
