China says all Covid-19 patients at Wuhan have been discharged

The city of Wuhan, where the worldwide coronavirus outbreak began, now doesn’t have residual instances in its hospitals, a health official told reporters on Sunday.

“The most recent news is that by April 26, the number of new coronavirus sufferers in Wuhan was zero, as a result of the concerted efforts of Wuhan and medical employees from across the nation,” National Health Commission spokesman Mi Feng stated in a briefing.

The town had reported 46,452 instances, 56 percent of the national total. It saw 3,869 deaths, roughly 84 percent of China’s total.
