China’s Xi says he Is watching Kashmir, supports Pak’s core interests: Report

Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Wednesday that he had been observing the situation in Kashmir and could encourage Pakistan in problems linked to its core interests, ” the official Xinhua News Agency reported.

Xi informed Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan during a meeting in Beijing the correct and wrong of the problem has been apparent, the report stated. Xi added that the parties must resolve the dispute through calm dialogue.

Tensions over Kashmir have climbed sharply since August when New Delhi revoked the particular standing for its state of Jammu and Kashmir.
