France and India have united Italy in extending their national lockdowns to stem the spread of this deadly book coronavirus.
French President Emmanuel Macron stated in a televised address on Monday evening which the confinement measures, set up since March 17, could be expanded to May 11.
In India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi followed in Italy’s footsteps by expanding the strict lockdown coverage to May 3.
These conclusions come as the number of diseases worldwide near both million thresholds. Nearly 120,000 individuals have lost their lives to COVID-19.
