British travelers to Portugal will no more need to isolate for 14 days as soon as they go back to the United Kingdom.
However, while Portugal was added into the UK’s so-called”traveling corridor”, Austria and Croatia have been eliminated from it, significance passengers to both nations need to isolate when they reunite.
The move was announced by the UK’s transportation secretary Grant Schnapps at a tweet Thursday.
Another state, Trinidad and Tobago, has also been removed from the listing of travel corridors for today, which the transportation secretary states would be to”maintain disease rates DOWN”.
The modifications will be effective from 4 am on Saturday, August 22.
