COVID-19 patients Possess Resistance for Half a Year, Research finds

Research by Oxford University has discovered that in case you happen to catch COVID-19 you’re highly unlikely to receive it for at least six weeks.

The report claims to be the first significant look at how coronavirus resistance functions.

The study followed over 12,000 health care employees in Oxford. Of people who got infected with the coronavirus, none have been re-infected from the short term after.

David Eyre, Professor in Infectious Diseases, at the University of Oxford and that worked on the analysis stated: “The analysis is continuing to discover whether protection against disease lasts longer”

But he said he’s convinced that after folks get COVID-19 most won’t get it in the brief term.

He explained after following individuals for six months that the researchers were excited to talk about their outcomes.
