Deepika Padukone to play Draupadi in next:’This Outlook Mahabharata will be Intriguing, Important’

Actor Deepika Padukone has disclosed that her next job following Chhapaak and’83 is going to be a brand new retelling of epic Mahabharata, from the view of Draupadi. She’ll collaborate with manufacturer Madhu Mantena on the undertaking.

“All of us know the Mahabharat because of its mythological stories and socio-cultural influence. We derive a lot of life’s lessons in the epic poem. However, the storyline we are most comfortable with is the epic’s top men. This new outlook will likely be not only interesting but also important,” she explained. The movie is going to be a multi-part franchise and the first component will launch on Diwali 2021.

Before, there were discussions that Aamir Khan is creating an internet show on Mahabharata. Shah Rukh Khan had let it slide in a meeting that Aamir is enjoying the part of Krishna. On being inquired about the type of role he’d love to perform, Shah Rukh responded’Krishna out of Mahabharata’ but went on to include”Krishna from Mahabharata has been accepted by Aamir, therefore, I will be unable to do this”

She plays with an acid assault survivor in the movie, depending on the travel of real life, Laxmi Aggarwal.

She’ll also be part of Kabir Khan’s’83, where she stars along with her husband and celebrity Ranveer Singh. Ranveer plays cricket captain Kapil Dev from the movie according to India’s success in the 1983 cricket World Cup. Deepika plays with his wife Romi Dev. The team finished filming.
