French investigators have produced a lot of arrests because a gruesome chain of strikes left dozens of horses killed this past year and have started over 150 investigations into these instances, the interior minister said Monday.

Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin declared the beginning of nighttime patrols from gendarmes to reassure horse owners and also to attempt to nab attackers. He said authorities have started 153 investigations on the horse strikes, about 30 of these regarding deaths or”exceptionally violent accidents.” There aren’t any known breakthroughs.

“The play within the play could be an owner… needing to take vengeance, do justice, then take his gun, struggle with somebody who goes after his horses,” he explained.

The minister spoke after going to the owner of a horse that had been a casualty of the mysterious attacks in the Oise area, north of Paris. He refused to comment on the sole arrest reported from the French press hours before in southern France.

Knives are used to slash the horses also, sometimes, mutilate them with organs occasionally eliminated. A horse’s face was disfigured in 1 situation and blood has been drained in a different. Frequently an ideal ear is cut off just like a decoration.

A man was being contested at the Haut-Rhin area of eastern France seeing a late August assault in Burgundy, following the mind of an animal refuge went after two guys slashing two of the ponies. Nicolas Demajean’s arm has been slashed because he wrangled with a few of those attackers and police generated a composite drawing according to his description.

The guy held for questioning is allegedly 50 and does not have any relation with horses, according to the Le Parisien newspaper.

For governments, it is clear various attackers are moving after horses round the nation but researchers do not know whether the attackers are doing out cult-like rituals, behaving in copycat fashion, or replying a morbid”struggle” on social networking.
