Ennio Morricone: Italian film composer, who won the Oscar for Hateful Eight, dies aged 91

He was hospitalized at Rome a couple of days back after falling and fracturing his leg.

Morricone is written over 500 soundtracks throughout his career.

He worked with director Sergio Leone on famous movies like”The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”, “A Fistful of Dollars” and”Once Upon a Time in America”, in Addition to on Brian De Palma’s movie”The Untouchables”.

Morricone won an Academy Award in 2016 because of his score at Quentin Tarantino’s”The Hateful Eight”. Also, he got the academy’s honorary award in 2007.

He also won three Golden Globes in 1987, 2000, and 2016, respectively for”The Mission”, “The Legend of 1900″ and”The Hateful Eight”.

His attorney Giorgio Assumma stated Morricone is going to have a personal funeral” for its esteem and humility he’s ever been motivated by throughout his presence”.

Italy’s Culture and Tourism Minister Dario Franceschini reported that it was”a sad day because of civilization. Ennio Morricone was among Italy’s best maestros […]. His melodies created the whole world fantasy”.
