Equipped raider holds Many people hostage at bank in Georgia

An armed raider has obtained many people hostage in a financial institution in the western Georgian town of Zugdidi.

Georgia’s interior ministry stated that it had received reports that a person had broken into the building at 14:21 local time on Wednesday.

It hasn’t been confirmed how many individuals are taken hostage, or that which needs the assailant has left.

Authorities stay in the scene and maybe seen away individuals from the lender.

“The Ministry of Internal Affairs is making utmost efforts to launch hostages and finalize the authorities functioning peacefully and confirm the security of every taxpayer, community member, and also police officer,” the government added.

An investigation into hostage-taking has also been established.
