‘Except for the typo’:” Pakistan’s UN envoy Following her faux pas on British PM Boris Johnson

Conservative leader Boris Johnson was appointed since the United Kingdom’s new prime minister in July that year,

Lodhi had held a picture of a woman with pellet injuries on her head in the United Nations in 2017 to state she had been supplying evidence of”Indian brutality” in Kashmir.

The photograph, however, was of Rawia Abu Joma’a, a 17-year-old Palestinian girl hurt in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza town in 2014, accepted by award-winning photographer Heidi Levine.

Lodhi had left the goof-up in her direction to respond to the then external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj’s speech in the UN. India had lambasted Lodhi for having a bogus film to”spread falsehoods about India” and also to”push a fictitious story “.

Levine had criticized the Pakistani diplomat’s gaffe as being”unfair to the dignity of Rawya (the wounded Palestinian girl) who’s still fighting to overcome her injuries,” while talking to news agency ANI.

Maleeha Lodhi isn’t the sole Pakistani diplomat that has goofed up.

“Yousuf out of Ananthnag…lost eyesight because of pellet…pls raise the own voice,” Basit tweeted together with the picture.
