Social media giant Facebook is allegedly working on a loading device, such as Amazons Fire Stick that would plug into a TV to provide access to internet content.
The streaming hardware is going to be a part of their organization’s Portal family of devices, with a camera, blending video chatting with TV watching and Augmented Reality (AR), Variety reported Friday.
The business has just approached Netflix, Disney, and HBO about incorporating their material to its hardware.
Additionally, Facebook is set to establish an upgraded version of its own video chat apparatus’Portal’ after this year.
Andrew Bosworth, Vice President of Facebook’s AR and Virtual Reality (VR) has also confirmed that the firm has a good deal more to unveil”after this fall” associated with Portal.
Portal premiered on November 2018.
The smart camera-enabled apparatus can be powered by Amazon’s voice helper Alexa and includes front cameras.
