Gurinder Chadha has shown her aunt died of coronavirus-related complications on Sunday. The filmmaker also shared though nobody by the household might be there by her side in her last moments, her kids were on the video phone with her and chanting prayers.
At a heartfelt Instagram article, Chadha shared with the information and thanked the medical staff in the Surrey hospital in the united kingdom for their efforts. “Now we said goodbye to my entire family bhaji /aunt from #covi̇d19 complications. She was my father’s little sister She’s the goddess sitting down in those last images from #viceroyshouse and doted on me,” she wrote.
Chadha added, “She lived the Partition of India and sadly for us, her loved ones nobody might be with her in person in her last minutes. BUT two nurses at the Surrey hospital held her hands, FaceTimed her kids who chanted Sikh prayers during that her spirit departed. God bless the #nhsheroes who left my precious aunts passing humane.”
