Former US president Jimmy Carter hospitalized after Collapse at Georgia House

Former US President Jimmy Carter is at the hospital after falling and fracturing his anus in his home in Plains, Georgia.

Carter Center spokeswoman Deanne Congileo explained the fracture as little at a statement issued Tuesday. She stated the 95-year-old is in great spirits in the Phoebe Sumter Medical Center and is excited about recovering at home following his autumn Monday evening.

This is the next time Carter has dropped lately. He fell in the spring and necessary hip replacement operation. Carter dropped again and even though getting 14 stitches, traveled another day to Nashville, Tennessee to rally volunteers and also help build a Habitat for Humanity house.

He also 92-year-old Rosalynn recently became the longest-married couple, surpassing George and Barbara Bush, with over 73 decades of marriage.
