Former French government ministry, Patrick Devedjian, has died of Covid-19.
On March 26 only a couple of days before his departure he tweeted he was afflicted by coronavirus symptoms.
He explained he’d been influenced by the outbreak and was competent to testify to the work of their medical team.
Earlier in the week, he had also tweeted his thanks to the team of this Haut-de-Seine department to get their job handling the outbreak.
After an adviser to former President Nicolas Sarkozy Devedjian had held a variety of ministerial positions considering entering politics in 1983.
On social networking, politicians were paying tribute to Devedjian, that was of Armenian descent.
The Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was among people that posted condolences.
