Harry Maguire: Manchester United captain found guilty of assault Greece

Manchester United captain Harry Maguire was given a suspended sentence of 21 months in prison after he had been found guilty after a brawl while on holiday in Greece.

Maguire, 27, was found guilty of recurrent bodily injury, attempted bribery, violence against public workers, and insult following his arrest, on the island of Mykonos. He’d denied all of the charges.

The paragraphs for all three defendants were suspended for 3 decades.

The England defender was discharged from custody over the weekend and has been permitted to go back to the United Kingdom.

Manchester United said in a statement their participant was”fully cooperating” with the Greek government.

The team stated Maguire”has been strongly maintaining his innocence” and could appeal the verdict.
