‘I deserve Greater Ballon d’Or awards than Messi,”’ States Cristiano Ronaldo

Juventus ahead Cristiano Ronaldo said he deserves to finish his football career with much more Ballon d’Or awards than Barcelona counterpart Lionel Messi and expects to establish himself as the best player of all time.

Ronaldo, 34, has won the most famous France Football magazine trophy for the world’s greatest player five times as many as Messi – but is excited for longer as he moves to the twilight of his profession.

“However, I believe I must have seven or six or eight to be over him,” he stated, speaking to this Ballon d’Or awards.

“I would love it, and I believe I deserve it.”

The Portugal captain stated that he wasn’t a friend of this Argentine but imputed his rival to helping push him farther in his livelihood.

“My connection with him is, we’re not buddies, but we’ve shared this point for 15 decades,” Ronaldo said. “I understand he has pushed me to be a better player and I’ve pushed him for a much better player too.”

Ronaldo, who played for Manchester United and Real Madrid, includes five UEFA Champions League winners’ awards and led Portugal to success in the 2016 UEFA European Championship and 2019 UEFA Nations League tournaments.

“I do not comply with the documents; the documents follow me. I am hooked on this achievement, and that I don’t think that it’s something awful, I think that it’s great,” Ronaldo said.
