Indian-origin scientist Building robots to Perform Demanding tasks

The group has designed a system that lets such kinds of robots learn complex jobs that would otherwise interfere with them with a lot of confusing rules.

However, the investigators’ robot produced no errors over many real-life experiments, and just a small number of errors within tens of thousands of simulated evaluation runs.

This way, robots will not need to execute preprogrammed tasks.

“Factory employees can instruct a robot to perform multiple complex assembly jobs. Domestic robots can discover to pile closets, load the dishwasher, or place the table from folks in the home,” Shah added.
