French movie director Luc Besson on Monday denied raping or drugging a celebrity — the very first time that the manufacturer of this Fifth Element has talked publicity regarding the sex allegations against him.
An estimate reopened a rape investigation to the film mogul on Friday, eight weeks after Paris prosecutors had dropped a case due to the Dutch-Belgian celebrity Sand Van Roy, who maintained Besson had repeatedly raped her over a six-month interval.

The manufacturer of hits like Nikita, whose legal issues have collaborated with a run of box office failures, also denied harassing women or holding them against their will. But Besson, 60, stated he had a connection with Van Roy and had made”some errors”.
“I chased my spouse and my kids. It didn’t only occur once, it occurred many times during our twenty decades of marriage,” he added. Van Roy first went into the authorities on May 2018 after spending the night with Besson at a luxury Paris resort.
Two months afterward she stated that she was raped four occasions during within both years after she’d been”at a controlling skilled connection” with the manager. She stated she’d feared for her career if she whined.
1 celebrity later told prosecutors she needed to escape “her hands and knees” in an audition in Besson’s Paris office in 2002.
