Former President Jimmy Carter is recovering from a fractured pelvis after falling in his Georgia home, The Carter Center announced Tuesday.
“He’s been admitted to Phoebe Sumter Medical Center for treatment and observation of a small pelvic fracture. He’s in great spirits and is looking forward to regaining at home”
Carter became the oldest living former president before this season and turned 95 this season.
The harm was the next one Carter, who fought with cancer in the past few decades, endured within weeks. Following an individual fall at his residence that month where he lasted a black eye, Carter appeared shortly afterward at a Habitat for Humanity project.
