Television channels showed pictures of rescue workers sifting through alloy sheeting and slabs of concrete in the Precious Talent faculty, also carrying white body bags into an ambulance.
“There were 57 pupils who were taken to hospital for treatment, and we could also affirm that there were seven deaths,” said government spokesman Cyrus Oguna.
