KFC to Check Meatless Chicken in Georgia Restaurant

KFC will examine vegetarian, plant-based poultry for a single day in 1 restaurant in the usa state of Georgia, the American fast-food giant said Monday.

Free samples of this new solution, which was designed in partnership with Beyond Meat and can be known as”Beyond Fried Chicken,” will soon be available in the KFC at Smyrna, Georgia on Tuesday, and clients may also purchase nuggets and boneless wings produced from the non-meat.

“I believe we have all heard’ it tastes like chicken’ — our clients will be astounded and say,’ it feels like Kentucky Fried Chicken!

KFC’s foray into plant-based meat follows Burger King’s introduction earlier this season of the Impossible Whopper, a meatless version of its trademark beef burger developed with Impossible Foods.

The startup is just one of many competitors in the fast-growing area of food firms catering to folks who do not eat meat.

Past Meat stated in a declaration that comments from the evaluation in Georgia could help KFC think about a nationwide rollout of their meat-free chicken.
