Bengal Warriors depended on celebrity all-rounder Mohammad Esmail Nabibakhsh’s last-minute stunt to eke out a stunning 42-39 victory over Puneri Paltan within their Pro-Kabaddi League fixture in Kolkata on Sunday.
With Warriors trailing by five points with less than two minutes left, Iranian Nabibakhsh made a fantastic raid and prior to his superb raid imposed an all-out, sealing the problem because of his side.
The triumph took Warriors into the next place in the table together with 48 points, 11 points less than leaders Dabang Delhi KC who conquered Tamil Thalaivas 50-34 from the prior match of the afternoon.
This was Warriors’ first home win of the year.
