It's a Cinderella story that began over five months ago... and today: a very happy ending.This three year old dog arrived at BENCHS overweight and in rough shape.Volunteers at the Humane Society named him Jarrod and brought him to the Paw Pet Resort...There, he got all kinds of special care.He was put on a special diet, and had two surgeries to replace his torn A-C-L's... plus, he got lots of exercise.And today, Jarrod is a new dog.Katherine Nelson of BENCHS says, "When he first came in there was no life in his eyes. He was just so sad looking. And now he's nothing but energy and sparkle and spunk. He just loves to run and play."Jarrod's new owners came across Jarrod on the BENCHS website.
