...Its official,Minneapolis Native and former Bethel Graduate Peter Haugen is the new Head football coach at Gustavus Adophus College.Haugen has been the head coach at Minneapolis Washburn High School the past 15 years where his teams won 11 league championships...At this mornings press conference at Gustavus announcing the news, Coach Haugen was joined by his family, including Wife Brenda along with their children Zeke,Zoey and Zeb who were offered a few items to help welcome them to the gustie family.The selection process to find a new head coach was a very thourough one according to Gustavus A.D. Al Molde and they are happy with their selection of Coach Haugen...Haugen becomes the 17th head coach in the 93 year history of the Gustavus football program.He replaces Jay Schoenabeck who resigned after 15 years at the helm.
