The Mankato United Soccer Club is recycling in a big way but not with plastic or aluminum. They're recycling their old jerseys.A new year of soccer means a brand new uniform. The organization decided that the old uniforms could prove to be useful to teams who can't afford them. They connected with bangladeshrelief.org and within days the jerseys were on their way overseas.Kari Halbur says, "It's a message of sharing, and it's a message of generosity to other countries and it's a message of recycling. It's important to recycle new product instead of throwing it away."The Soccer Club has over one thousand kids in the program and will to continue donating to the relief fund.
