9-11 Trial Reaction

When it comes to prosecuting 9/11 suspects in federal court in New York, attorney general Eric Holder says, ``failure is not an option.''The attorney general grilled at a senate hearing today what might happen if Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and the others are acquitted.Holder said, ``these are cases that have to be won'' -- and that he's not expecting any other result. He also brushed off concerns that a civilian trial would give the suspects a forum.Attorney general Holder says, 'If Khalid Sheikh Mohammed makes the same statements he made in his military commission proceedings, I have every confidence that the nation and the world will see him for the coward that he is. I'm not scared of what Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has to say at trial and no one else needs to be afraid either."President Obama said those who are offended by the legal privileges being given to Mohammed will feel differently 'when he's convicted and when the death penalty is applied to him.'
