U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have been tucking into turkey dinner on this Thanksgiving Day.Soldiers in Baghdad were served up more than a ton of turkey, 600 pounds of stuffing and 3,000 slices of pumpkin pie.In Afghanistan, the US ambassador, Karl Eikenberry visited wounded troops, and shared Thanksgiving dinner with service members at the Bagram Airbase.In his weekly video address, President Obama thanked the troops and their families for their sacrifice.President Obama: "We keep in our thoughts and prayers the many families marking this thanksgiving with an empty seat, saved for a son or daughter, a husband or a wife stationed in harm's way.'On Tuesday the president will unveil his new war strategy that's expected include sending at least 30,000 more US troops to Afghanistan.
