Saying he doesn't want Washington to continue being so Washington-like - President Obama went to Baltimore today to talk with congressional republicans about his agenda.He says both sides are to blame for the current climate on Capitol Hill.Fox's Jennifer Davis reports from Washington on whether or not lawmakers found any common ground.Obama says: "We've gotten caught up in the political game in a way that's not helpful."Facing some of his toughest critics at a GOP retreat in Baltimore, President Barack Obama told house members he welcomes disagreement and debate as he defended his agenda.Obama says: "I don't believe the American people want us to focus on our job security. They want us to focus on their job security."Earlier the president toured a Maryland machine company, proposed a five thousand dollar tax credit for each new small business job created and hailed new reports that the us economy grew 5.7 percent in the fourth quarter of last year.Obama says: "It's a stark improvement."Republicans generally support tax credits, but questioned many of the president's other policies and decisions.Chaffetz says: "When you said you would broadcast budget debates on CSPAN, you didnt."Pence says: "Will you consider supporting across the board tax relief?"Ryan says: "Why not start freezing spending now?"Republicans believe they have political momentum coming out of last week's Massachusetts special election in which they captured a senate seat long held by democratic titan Edward Kennedy.But following the meeting, they said they were grateful for the president's willingness to have a frank and open debate on their differences.Boehner says: "Today was a good first step in having more of a dialogue and I hope it continues."Davis says "It remains to be seen what progress was made.
