Military airlifts of critically injured earthquake victims are starting back up again. The flights halted last Wednesday, because of issues with space and health costs at american public hospitals.SHEEHAN says: "It's a great thing that the military transports have opened up again. We have had lots of patients who are critically ill that we have being caring for, but they need more care than we can provide here."The white house resuming flights after getting assurances there is enough space for patients at hospitals in the u.s, and among its international partners. On the ground, a new coupon system seems to be helping the aid distribution go more smoothly...And many schools reopened for the first time since the quake...although most remained closed.Meanwhile, the fate of ten americans arrested in haiti -- accused of trying to illegally smuggle children out of the country - remains unclear. The haitian government is considering sending them back to the u.s. For trial...because its court system has ben crippled by the quake. The baptist missionaries are part of a group called *new life children's refuge* based out of idaho...They deny the child trafficking charges...saying they were trying to move the children to a makeshift orphanage in the dominican republic.SILSBY says: "They are very precious kids, that have lost their homes, their families, and they are so deeply in need."Other aid groups say some of the kids *do* have parents and relatives in haiti...and this was something the missionaries should have known. In new york, eric shawn, fox news.
