UNICEF Vaccinates Children In Haiti

A campaign is underway in earthquake ravaged Haiti, to vaccinate thousands of children.UNICEF along with a group of Cuban doctors, and the Haitian health ministry... Are on hand at the port-au-prince stadium vaccinating children under the age of seven.They're trying to prevent the spread of diseases like measles, tetanus and diphtheria.Thousands of children are living in tents since the devastating magnitude seven quake hit last month.KENT SAYS: " Measles can be a killer of children and we have to make sure, and it spreads like wildfire so we are doing this as a lifesaving preventive intervention."The government and aid groups are still struggling to get food, water, and basic health care to hundreds of thousands of survivors.
