Former secretary of state Colin Powell says he supports repealing the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy.The retired general released a statement Wednesday saying a year-long study of the law is a responsible way to begin a congressional review of the issue.He added that - quote - "attitudes and circumstances have changed" since the policy was adopted in 19-93.Powell was one of the leading opponents of allowing gays to serve openly in the military in the early 19-90's.
