Missionaries Face Questioning From Hatian Judge

A Haitian judge made no decision Monday on the fate of ten American missionaries facing charges of trying to illegally ferry a group of orphans out of the country. The 10 Americans charged with kidnapping children arrived at a Haitian courthouse on Monday to resume a hearing before a judge. The judge can decide whether to release them or continue to hold them. The group's leader, Laura Silsby, remains hopeful."I am trusting God to reveal all truth and that we will be released and exonerated of charges, and we are just waiting for the Haitian process, legal process, to complete."Haitian authorities say the missionaries tried to take a busload of 33 children across the border into the Dominican Republic without papers proving the minors were orphans or any official permission to take them out of the country.
