President Obama continues to ratchet up the pressure on congress to vote up or down on healthcare reform.Today, the president met with several democratic lawmakers at the white house.He also stepped into a meeting between the five largest insurance companies and the health and human services secretary.Fox news correspondent Craig Boswell reports from Washington.THE PRESIDENT'S SPOKESMAN SAYS THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES WILL PASS HEALTHCARE REFORM BY MARCH 18TH, BEFORE THE PRESIDENT LEAVES FOR AN OVERSEAS TRIP.GIBBS says: "I believe that, based on conversations that I've had in the building, that we are on schedule uh, to get this through the house by then."AT THE WHITE HOUSE, THE PRESIDENT MET WITH GROUPS OF HOUSE DEMOCRATS, INCLUDING LAWMAKERS WHO VOTED AGAINST THE HEALTHCARE REFORM LEGISLATION LAST YEAR.OTHER DEMOCRATS SAY THEY WILL NOT SUPPORT THE MEASURE UNLESS ABORTION LANGUAGE IN THE SENATE BILL IS STRENGTHENED TO PREVENT FEDERAL FUNDING OF ABORTION SERVICES.HOUSE SPEAKER NANCY PELOSI SAYS HEALTHCARE REFORM DOES NOT CHANGE THE LAW THAT BANS THE PRACTICE.PELOSI says: "If you believe there should be no federal funding of abortions and if you believe there should be no change in the policy and if you believe we need healthcare for all Americans, we will pass the bill."REPUBLICANS SAY DEMOCRATS WILL PAY THE PRICE FOR HEALTHCARE REFORM AT THE BALLOT BOX AND BELIEVE THE BILL CAN BE STOPPED.BOEHNER says: "I can't recall a bill that's ever passed the congress that the American people knew about, and read about and debated for 9 months and have clearly rejected and yet have Congress go ahead and pass it."BOSWELL says: (on cam tag) "The House Majority Leader says a final vote by the Easter Break at the end of this month is doable.
