Much of the Vikings off the field questions have been centered on Brett Favre.According to the Star Tribune Brad Childress said today Favre will need 2 to 3 weeks to be ready. He also mentioned it's the same timeframe as last year. Still don't know if he'll be playing for the Vikings this year but expectations are he will be back. Some of the focus is also on star running back Adrian Peterson. The Vikes back field has been a busy place this week.Running backs coach Eric Bieniemy was offered the offensive coordinator position at University of Southern California but he turned it down. The Vikings made sure to keep him by promoting him to assistant head coach offense.Bieniemy's big project will be Adrian Peterson's ball security again this year, 28 has fumbled 16 times over the last two seasons.Peterson has been in headlines this summer because of contract issues after he missed OTA's. AP is scheduled to make 7 million this year and up to 13 million next season.Peterson told the Star Tribune that camp is on the agenda saying quote I'll be there. Without a shadow of a doubt I'll be there. Whether there is contract talk or not, I will be there. End Quote. We'll see him Friday when camp practice begins.Vikings single game tickets go on sale this Wednesday at 9 AM at Mall of America Field. All of the teams 10 home games, 2 of them are preseason games, have tickets available. There are many packages including two game deals for Dallas and Detroit as well as Green Bay and Denver. It should be another great season under the bubble this fall for the Purple.
