Photographs of the week: Greece fires, Portland Marathon and Violence EU talks

This week EU leaders have embraced a 1.8 trillion-euro budget and coronavirus rescue bundle after marathon talks in Brussels.

In southern Greece, firefighters have been combating wildfires for many times.

On the other side of the Atlantic, violence raged in Portland during Black Lives Issue protests. A group of girls called the”Wall of Moms” [sic], formed human chains around civilians to prevent them from being detained.

On Friday (July 24), Istanbul milestone Hagia Sophia hosted Muslim prayers to the first time in 86 years following its transformation back into a mosque, which ignited controversy, particularly in Greece.
