It comprises billboards, online marketing and a brand-new site explaining how Brexit can affect everything from driving into travelling with pets using a multiple-choice poll.
In an announcement, No. 10 showed that research revealed only 50 per cent of the British people thought that the UK would depart with no deal on October 31, and only 31% of individuals had looked for advice about the best way best to prepare.
“Ensuring an orderly Brexit isn’t just a topic of national significance, but a shared responsibility,” explained Michael Gove, the British government ministry in charge of preparations for a no-deal Brexit.
“This effort will encourage the nation to come together to prepare for Brexit on October 31.”
The site offers advice about how Brexit will affect travel, working rights, travel insurance and pet passports, in addition to how regulations can impact companies and pupils.
It warns British nationals residing in the EU they might want to apply for residency and might lose their healthcare policy, also warns UK residents they will only qualify to 90 days travelling in Europe every six months.
Pet owners have been cautioned that it might take four weeks to receive a visa to get their pets to go to the EU, while motorists have been advised they might require additional info to carry their car into Europe.
Travellers will also be cautioned that cellular roaming costs may rise once Britain leaves the EU.
The government announced last month it would be spending 100 million on a marketing campaign to prepare for Brexit.
