SpaceX capsule including 4 astronauts reaches space station

SpaceX’s recently launched capsule using four astronauts came Monday in the International Space Station, their new house until spring.

The Dragon capsule pulled upward and up late Monday night, after a 27-hour, fully automatic flight from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. The linkup happened 422 kilometers above Idaho.

“We can not wait to get you onboard,” she added after both spacecraft were awakened together.

This is the next astronaut assignment for SpaceX. Nonetheless, it’s the very first time Elon Musk’s company delivered a team for a complete half-year channel remain. The two-pilot test flight before this season lasted two weeks.

Both Americans and one Japanese astronaut will stay in the orbiting laboratory until their replacements arrive another Dragon in April. And so it is going to go, together with SpaceX — and finally Boeing — transporting astronauts to and from the channel for NASA.
