Stimac Titles 23-member India squad for World Cup qualifiers against Bangladesh

Head coach Igor Stimac on Saturday Called a 23-member Indian Soccer squad for the FIFA World Cup qualifier against Bangladesh to be Performed at Kolkata on Tuesday.

“Sandesh has endured on his left knee ACL tear and will need to undergo operation. It typically takes 6 weeks for a return to the game. He is going to be monitored constantly through the rehab phase so he comes back to the field earlier,” Team Physio Gigy George stated.

Goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, that led in the front as captain at the drawn game against Asian champions Qatar in Doha, termed out the ruling of Sandesh because’a big reduction’ for the Blue Tigers.

“It is really sad. It is a major loss for us, particularly at this instant. I could envision how could he feel overlooking this match but he is a strong man and he will return ardently soon,” Sandhu said.

The Indian group will hit Kolkata on Sunday.
