Students from the Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority of Minnesota State University, Mankato put on an event this evening for a good cause.
The sorority hosted a carnival that included lots of food, games, prizes, and even a fortuneteller.
In addition to the fun, all of the proceeds went to benefit the Special Olympics.
Jessica Miles, member of the Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority, says, "We are donating all of the money that we raise to the Special Olympics since the Special Olympics is one of our philanthropies. Throughout the year we try to get involved. We get really involved at the Special Olympic games, but we have not ever done a big fundraiser for the Special Olympics. So, this will be our first ever fundraiser to raise money for the Special Olympics."
Alpha Sigma Alpha is now on their fifteenth year of working to help the Special Olympics.
