Minnesota State University Mankato is getting a taste of the Netherlands today when three Dutch University faculty members toured the school.
Department heads of Undergraduate Studies and International Education set up the four day visit with HAN University of Applied Sciences of The Netherlands.
Right now, MSU offers study abroad options at HAN for business or sports management, but they want to add automotive engineering and sustainable energy.
Today they discussed different approaches to majors they share in common and ways to increase international learning.
HAN University of Applied Sciences Dean Eric Holtman says, "In this world of globalization it's not only Internet but to connect young people with each other and if we can create the circumstances that are met, or to meat each other and study together."
In the fall four MSU students are scheduled to study at HAN University for the semester and four of their students will be coming here.
