With Veterans Day quickly approaching, students, faculty, and the community got together at Rasmussen College to show their appreciation for local veterans and active military members who are overseas by making them thank you cards in advance of the holiday.

Community development manager at Rasmussen Celeste Voss says, "Here at Rasmussen college we have a lot of veterans that come through our doors, so we wanted to show our appreciation to students as well as family members and local community members who are out there serving our country.

The cards will go to the about 50 veterans and active military members who are students at Rasmussen, along with other soldiers serving overseas.
