From the air we breathe to the land we walk on there's a lot that human kind shares with one another.

The Center for Earth Spirituality and Rural Ministry wants people to be aware of those common bonds and made it the topic of their 6th annual Earth Conference.

The conference keynote speaker is from the Land Stewardship Project... an organization aimed at keeping farmers on their land and supporting local farming.

Aside from the speaking there was also Q and A and a number of displays explaining how people can make a difference.

Co director for earth spirituality Lisa Coons says, "We really want people to think about the commons and their place in that and make a commitment to some sort of action to preserve the commons for everyone."

Over 100 people attended the 6–hour conference put on by the Sisters of Notre Dame.
