In another high profile case. today is sentencing day for a New Jersey college student convicted for bias crimes that lead to his roommate's suicide.
In another high profile case. today is sentencing day for a New Jersey college student convicted for bias crimes that lead to his roommate's suicide.
He's captained the varsity football team for two years, is president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is a youth representative on the Blue Earth County Board of Corrections. And that's just for starters.
Wes Otto, a Senior at Loyola High School is this month's Rising Star. Wes has found the right combination for his success in life which is to just find something you are passionate about and use it to help others. He tries to make sure others follow the right path. He does that by being involved with Project For Teens, an effort to encourage teens in our community to make healthy decisions. Wes Otto says, "With all the technologies today, there is more room to make mistakes and make poor decisions. So it's important to let other people know appropriate moves to be making and what to do to make sure your high school doesn't become a ground for bad decision–making."
Staying on the right path, and bringing others along with him is Loyola High School senior Wes Otto this month's rising star.
