MANKATO, Minn -

If you have a storage unit, you may want to double–check that it is secure.

Since Wednesday night officers have gotten 9 reports of storage units being broken into and rummaged through in Mankato.

Cmdr. Amy Vokal with Mankato Public Safety says, "What we would really encourage, if you put more than $10 worth of stuff in a unit, get a padlock that is worth more than $10.  You know how easy it is to cut a lock of you watch the storage wars shows, get something that is secure and protect your valuables.

Officers are still investigating who is responsible for the break–ins.
