The husband of a Michigan woman found strangled in her car this week is back at home after spending hours talking to police and taking a polygraph test Friday.
Police said Jane Bashara was found dead in the back seat of her Mercedes Wednesday. Her husband, Bob Bashara, who reported her missing Tuesday night, is being called a person of interest in the case.
Police said while there, he answered questions and took a polygraph test.
Bashara said, "It's just unthinkable that this happened to her and what she had to suffer. I am just so upset about it. They usually, they said they start closest to the home and then spread out, and so I'm doing what I need to do to cooperate with the authorities to find who did this to my wife."
While he was being interviewed, Police and combed the couple's home and garage for clues.
Friends of the 56-year-old victim held a candlelight vigil in her honor on Wednesday.
A funeral is scheduled for Tuesday.
