Reports have been coming in from Brown County Residents about a phone call scam. One report describes a call where residents are told they won the publisher's clearing house sweepstakes. Police say scams
Authorities also say a lot of the time these individuals are looking for information involving identity theft.

It has been about two weeks since Mankato teen Shelby Tweten stole the heart of many American Idol fans with her beautiful voice and inspirational story of her battle with depression and bipolar disorder.
While only time will tell how far she makes it, Shelby says being on American Idol has already opened doors for her.
Shelby says, "I've been asked to be the national ambassador of Music for Health. I've been asked to speak at camps across the nation, and it's insane because my dream since I was about in 3rd grade was to share my story with others and the voice thing is just a plus."
As for what's next for Miss Tweten, be sure to watch American Idol on Fox Mankato Wednesday and Thursday nights.
