Even With New School Record, Brett Is Pfarr From Done

Posted: Updated:

LeSueur-Henderson's Brett Pfarr has had his share of success on the wrestling mat, in fact he's had the most out of any Giant EVER posting a record of 183-34.
Brett surpassed his own brother Matt earlier this year when he recorded his 176th career win.
He says his brother had no grudge relinquishing his title.

Pfarr's coaches say his new school record comes from the effort he puts forth on the mat, although his style is different than most.

Pfarr is currently ranked #2 at 170 pounds in class-A with a record of 34-1 for his senior year.
He says the one loss came early, and stung because he wanted to go undefeated all season, but it opened his eyes.

Pfarr has plenty of experience at the state tournament, finishing runner-up in his respective weight classes the last two years.
Now his sights are set on helping the Giants make it to state as a team, and finally bring home an individual title.
That's why he's our KEYC Scheels All-Sports Boys Prep Athlete of the Week.
